The swimming season continues at Domaine Napoléon!
Summer is coming to an end, but there’s still time for a swim: our outdoor pool is still open and heated. After a hike, a bike ride or a day exploring the Hautes-Alpes, enjoy a few lengths or a relaxing moment by the water.
Keeping the pool open for as long as possible
We’re doing everything we can to keep the pool open as late into the season as possible, as long as the weather allows us to maintain a comfortable water temperature of around 25–26°C.
The heating system and pool cover help us retain warmth. At this time of year, however, cool nights, wind and outdoor temperatures all have an impact: even with heating, the water temperature depends on the weather.
Perhaps even into October?
If the weather stays favourable, swimming could continue into October! We take each week as it comes, so we cannot announce a closing date in advance. Our aim is to keep the pool available for you to enjoy for as long as conditions allow.
